THOMAS AND Mr. Pib BEAGLE EXCERPT

THOMAS AND Mr. Pib BEAGLE EXCERPT

Mrs. Posie was making her way towards the Basille’s house with her basket. She can see from the street that something is going on in the back of the house. ‘Oh no.’ she thinks to herself, ‘Guess Paul didn’t clean up the mess from the other night. The fool, he said he took care of the two mangy beasts.’ The beasts were some of the pack in the area and must have been scouting for some new hunting grounds.

Tom’s dad got to the dead animal surveyed what it was and started to pick it up by hand and put it in the wheel barrow. He grabbed it and balanced it in the wheel barrow.  “There we go looks like we have a coyote here. Probably got hit by a car or something like that and came here and passed on.” Pete says this to Millie while Tom had put Mr. Pib in the house and scurried back.
